ERASING the face of HUNGER

Feeding by itself is never enough. Give a man a fish, says the famous proverb, and you have fed him for a day. Teach him to fish and you have fed him for a lifetime. People must eventually make their own way and earn their own living.  Compassion Philippines’ plan is to help people in the Philippines cross this chasm of poverty.  We believe that the poor not only need to be fed, but also need education, and empowering skills to create better lives for themselves and their families.

SPonsoring student meals

Education reduces poverty, boosts economic growth and increases income. It can be the catalyst needed to pull families and communities out of the cycle of poverty. Knowledge gives people the power to dream of a better future. When you help pay for student’s meal, you give them an opportunity to break the cycle of poverty.
